Since 2010, a total of 725,608 cholera cases and 8,813 deaths were reported in Haiti according to the United Nations.
Waterborne illnesses and access to safe drinking water represent an ongoing challenge throughout the country. Many watersheds are impaired and groundwater becomes less reliable due to waste contamination. The personal filter produce up to 1,000 liters (264 gallons) of clean water. By providing personal filters to families it will eliminate cholera transmission/prevent it to occur and save lives.
Recycle4Haiti Foundation Inc is established in more than 2 states and 2 countries as a disaster relief organization. We've collected over 100,000 aluminum cans and gently used household items from American citizens in our efforts to raise money for medical, nutritional, and educational programs. We educate the public on recycling and on water quality in developing countries.
